Shamanic improvisational toning, movement & harmonics~ In the safe warm womb of mother, we are guided on fascinating medicine journeys. We use the voice, instruments and sounds as a vehicle to deconstruct our normal day to day identities and journey inward and open our third eye. We activate intuition, connect with totem animals and allies, shapeshift and journey across dimensions of time and space with expanded states of consciousness. Shamanic toning in our cathedral invokes universal archetypes channeling sound energies. Blending vocals with somatic expression and movement, we remember and weave mystic tones, styles and universal/ancestral knowledge from all tribes activating and integrating our capacities as healers and wise ones. We cultivate diaphramatic circular breath and depth of voice and character. No experience is needed, only a willingness to be present, discover and channel our power consciously, unify and transform. This workshop is a series offering various foci using shamanic tone improvisation, ritual healing and transformational journeying. Proficient didgeridoos, drummers and all toners who resonate ~ come~ participate~There is no requirement, however you may bring anything you wish to add to the ritual and your/our transformation including an instrument, a mask, alter item, totem animal symbols or a shamanic meditation or incantation. The journey will activate awakenings and their will be space to move, stretch or dance. Yet the intention is to create a heartfelt peaceful sanctuary of connectedness and utilize deep relaxed brain wave states .

Dr. LisaDevi is a seasoned ego, depth and quantum psychologist and phenomenologist. She has written, directed, produced & choreographed Shamanic theater and musical healing (feature length films and videos using sound healing), studied many forms of dance (Odissi, Flamenco, belly dance, Butoh) and performed private and public medicine dance rituals for 11 years. She has worked with snake medicine for 11 years and has a collection of over 30 snake allies. She has conducted extensive qualitative research on musical engagement, embodiment, kinesis and sound healing, and has sung in various vocal improv groups (Joy Freeman, (Rhiaanon), Stu and Tes), countless kirtans, facilitated Dhrupad healing with Nada Yoga (Shanti Shivani), studied and performed hundreds of Tibetan and Bhutanese bowl healing and class (Diane Mandle), sang in various gospel choirs (St. Brigid’s choir and New Life choir) and studied voice (Wayne Perry, Rev Roby).

Facilitators: Alchemy Devi is a qi medicine dancer and heart whisperer as well as phenomenological psychologist of existential-humanistic encounter groups,& ego, depth and quantum psychologies from USC. She is a published author, award winning feature film director, acting coach and international speaker on the subject of gender, sexualiqi, and the phenomenology of creativity, embodiment and music/sound healing. She’s studied expressive arts, Butoh, Flamenco, Odissi, Egyptian and tribal belly dance, comedy and contact improv, sound healing, martial arts and qi gong. Over the past 15 years she™s worked with shamanic medicine guides and yogis, and is founding director of the Spiral Arts Insitute teaching Taoist, Kundalini, and Tibetan Buddhist White Tantra, energy medicine and awakenings. She’s directed choreographed and performed in improvisational theatre and healing rituals with her Theatre & Dance Company for over a decade in NYC, Los Angeles, Black Rock Desert, Vegas, San Francisco, and San Diego.

StuArt Schreiber (aka Reverend Happy aka S-2 aka Huggy Bear) has been expressing himself passionately, physically, vocally and verbally, emotionally, artistically and creatively for a very long time… His training includes college theatre and dance, professional level New York (Meisner Technique with Kathryn Gately and Actors Movement with Loyd Williamson) and Los Angeles (Stephen Book) acting and movement training, Primal Theatre wtih Alec Rubin, Psycho-Opera with Dr. William Pennell Rock, yoga, authentic communication, men’s work, tantra, living in intentional community (Universal Temple of Higher Consciousness, Co-Founder), Karaoke, and evolutionary partnership with the goddess TES. (of time, energy and space). Professional credits include a European tour of West Side Story, three Mel Brooks’ films, Teibele and Her Demon (Arizona Jewish Theatre) and establishing the Stu Schreiber Studio of Acting and Movement. Stu loves to sing and dance FULL OUT and work the edge of his comfort zone~
